this is strange i don't seem to have that file i looked in C:\Program Files\ProScan i see all the files but that one.

The 996p2 doesn't create .hpd files, only .txt or .hpe, .cvs, .html if you export.

Ahh, see if you can find the .hpe file and post that.

hello i have a BCD996P2 i use proscan software and the RR database and i cant seem to pickup the Utility company im trying to listen to i imported from RR to my scanner software and uploaded it to the scanner i have ID Search on and nothing seems to work i have a SDR and DSDPlus on a 2nd antenna it has no problem receiving and decoding the DMR i don't understand why this thing wont work i even added more talk groups to it that where not in the RR database that i logged with DSDplus anything that would help me out would be nice.

Edit: i also paid for the DMR key from the Uniden site and the radio excepted it.

Okay, so the issue is with a Connect + system and the 996P2, not Cap+ and DSD, as you stated in the other thread?

After reading through your posts, I will start by saying that you should verify that you have the DMR upgrade again. Then, in the programming, either sentinel or proscan, enable only the site you can receive and ensure you have TGs programmed or ID Search enabled. Perhaps maybe there is no traffic on your local site? or the LCNs are wrong?

I would also say stick with one programming software. I'd recomend ProScan for everything.

i just did this and when ever people talk i see CAP but hear no voice. i just don't get it i have even had people help me with my DB and it refuses to decode.

You could always drop back a version or two for the firmware, perhaps there is some issue with that and your unit. I have a remote radio I have not got around to updating that it running 1.10.02. A local CAP+ system works okay on it.

Using Firmware 1.11.07 and the local SHECO is the only Cap+ network near here i also have the MotoTRBO unlocked i paid for the key and i can confirm it took if i go to Upgrade and check on DMR....it shows i have it
