Sentinel: Does Sentinel update Favorites List when updating master list?

In Sentinel when I go to Update > Update Master Database does it also update/add/delete frequencies and other info in my Favorites List? If not, how do I update those talk groups or frequencies if there's a change to the master database? Delete an reinstall them?

Negative. You need to re-add anything that was updated.

Updating the database does not update favorites lists. You will need to enter the new info manually or re-attach the new info to the favorites list.

Again, a question that’s been answered numerous times. I am also guilty of asking already asked and answered questions, but I’m getting into the habit of doing a google search first. That search usually gives me previous inquiries and the threads that answer what is asked.

Proscan has a recently added a "RRDB Differences" feature which highlights differences & give you the option to update based on what's programmed in your FLs. One of many reasons why I prefer it over Sentinel for programming as long as you maintain your RR premium sub.

A word of caution though. I found if you do anything in Sentinel in regards to writing to the scanner and using the normal "Erase all FL" routine, the "RRDB Differences" function is no longer available. That may be fixed in 22.1 but was seen in previous versions.
