Controlling two radios (Uniden 996T and Whistler 1080) at once with Winbook 10" tablet.
996 is using the old USB-1 connection to the front of the radio (YES, you CAN get it to work under Win 8.1) the 1080 standard USB mini cable - charges and controls.
One radio is plugged into the full size USB port
The other is plugged into the hub I referenced in the other post.
You can in fact run more than one instance of ProScan, so you could have two BC radios running at once off the same tablet.
996 is plugged into the full size USB port
Whistler is plugged into the hub I mentioned on the other post, which is plugged into the charge port.
But since there is full size USB, you can just use a regular hub to run both. The Whistler, if you also want to charge, may require a powered hub, the tablet may not put out enough power to access both radios and charge the batteries.
