Controlling two radios (Uniden 996T and Whistler 1080) at once with Winbook 10" tablet.
996 is using the old USB-1 connection to the front of the radio (YES, you CAN get it to work under Win 8.1) the 1080 standard USB mini cable - charges and controls.

It will pick up both USB ports at the same time for the same program?

Nevermind..just noticed that you have two separate programs running.

You are killing me, I have a WinBook 8.1 tablet here as well.

Probably time for me to start thinking about using it!

Are you just using a USB hub or how is the tablet communicating with both radios?

One radio is plugged into the full size USB port
The other is plugged into the hub I referenced in the other post.
You can in fact run more than one instance of ProScan, so you could have two BC radios running at once off the same tablet.

Whistler is plugged into the hub I mentioned on the other post, which is plugged into the charge port.
But since there is full size USB, you can just use a regular hub to run both. The Whistler, if you also want to charge, may require a powered hub, the tablet may not put out enough power to access both radios and charge the batteries.

Wonder how well Wireless USB adapters would work in the mobile environment and if it would connect back up without problems?

What is the program on the right?
Does it offer control or only display?

Run the Remote Control Test Software
Click on RH-536HP_mkII.zip to run the test application. The scanner can be controlled using this remote software.
BCD536HPFirmwareUpdate < UnidenMan4 < TWiki

For Audio I like to use this if using above program
