DCMon, be careful about posting transmit PL tones to radio systems. There are some people out there that think they can go on Public safety radio systems and do unlawful things.

Understood, however that info is readily available to the public. Most modern scanner's will tell you. Lot's of pages on RR post it.
The info I listed was from an RFP placed online by DC.

On the evening of 02/22 Law 1 analog (dispatcher side only) was
simulcasting on the new P25 UHF trunked system. It showed TG ID
10000 Unit ID 256 and P25 Phase 2 slot 1. System is P25 Phase 1 ?
It lasted several hours from the four sites I receive and was a strong
signal and sound. I have not heard anything else.

Interesting that it showed a slot 1. The Vhf side was upgraded to P25 Phase 1 repeaters. The trunked system being phase 2 makes sense, since most all new trunk systems are Phase 2 P25

Since yesterday afternoon the new UHF trunk system has been simulcasting analog vhf Law 1 mobile traffic (no dispatch). This is on site 1 nebo/rose/justice center and site 7 scott. P25 P2 slot 1 / TGID 10000 / all listed as unit 64000

No updates as far as any type of system use since my last post. I sometimes here radio tech's doing the 1,2,3,4 thing. More recently most have been "e".

Another week, no activity to note beyond one four second silent transmission (sounded like a mic key up). I monitor Site 3 - Mount Nebo/ Justice Center/ Rose Mountain and Site 7 Scott Mountain. Both by listening or Site 3 by SDS100 trunking discovery 24/7. I know encrypted transmission might slip by but I watch for them. The SDS100 notes everything regardless. Douglas County posted a video about their radio upgrades on their Youtube channel.

DCMon, any chance you have enough information gathered to start submitting information to put into the database? Currently this system has not been created and I have not received any submissions to start it. I'm in Roseburg this week for work so I'm trying to gather some stuff but you might have better details.

Still seeing a fair number of LE vehicles with the older Vhf high 1/4 wave antenna rather than the new black multi-band antenna. Maybe the reason (or one of) the new DC trunk system is quiet?

Today I actually had some activity. I picked up three separate sounds around noon time. I would call them two mic clicks and something like a duck with a sore throat. All in the clear. These were picked up from site 3 (Roseburg) during my daily SDS100 trunk discovery session.

The last two days (Wed & Thur) the TG ID 50100 has been on 453.1750 which is part of the Mount Nebo simulcast (in Roseburg). No sound, just on the air. This is not happening on the other sites I receive. Monday and Tuesday had some brief Radio Tech talk.
