Hi,

I'm new here and I'm sure this was asked before but I could not find it so I'm going to ask.

Is there a way to download all the frequencies in a whole state as one file? I can download them by county but was wondering about the state so I did not have to download them separately and then combine them.

Thanks in advance for reading my question,

Andy

i would just buy a radio that can handle the whole database.
i thought of doing that years ago for Florida, since i live there, but i am not going to go to 95% of this place.
so why would i take the time to do it.
i settled for the surrounding counties and another couple that we go to regularly.

so, what radio do you want to try this with ?

I have a Uniden BCD436HP, a few Baofeng's, and a Yaesu FT-990. Sad part is I do not know much about them so I'm just starting off. I figured I would start off listening but wanted to make sure I know what to listen for. As I travel a lot it would be good to have a Database of everything and then I could load just what I want or I could look up what I want. It looks like the Uniden comes with a full DB I'm just not sure how to extract it so I can prioritize what I want to scan.

Thanks,

Andy

I'm here a lot
With the Uniden, your best option is to create a Favorite List. You would then append the entries from the Full DB to this new Favorite you created. From there you could add or subtract entries as you like. You cannot modify the Full Database.

Otherwise for other radios, go to the database page for your state then click on Downloads and Reports. This will download a .csv file of all identified frequencies for your state. Import what you like from there.
