drop in charger base for BCD436HP?

Has anyone made or rigged a drop in charger base for BCD436HP? Not to be anti usb plug but our two ways have drop in bases that we mounted in the truck and it is handy

I was thinking of rigging something up for contact if I could find a base that “cupped” the BCD436HP reasonably well.

I'm not aware of any off-the-shelf drop-in base that fits the 436 very well, that would be suitable for charging. Then there's the challenge of engineering matching charging contacts in the base and the 436, and ensuring that the batteries don't get shorted out if a piece of metal bridges the charging contacts.

It allows the batteries to be charged while the scanner is turned on and plugged into USB power.
