If I ever do I hope I'll get to shake said developer's handIt's actually one of the worst kept secrets around here, and is so blatantly obvious that I'm genuinely amazed that there are still members who haven't figured it out.![]()

It does download the update to a zip file. I can open the zip file but when i double click to install it i get a error. Same with the text doc in the folder. Any suggestions? I can not get it do update. I paid for the year of service which is still valid till july 2025
AFAIK, DSDPlus creates event files by default. The filename depends on the Control mode selected.Okay, so now that this was also removed without any mention of how to get around it, do you know how to get that logging back or have any workarounds?
It was pretty important to log in to the event file, especially with DMR/NXDN systems that have a lot of information.
I have voice for this, but no record of DCC, Frequency, System Type, or mode. This is what shows up in my log file:
2025/01/18 17:37:20 Group call; TG=3500 RID=123 Slot=1 3s 2025/01/18 17:37:25 Group call; TG=3500 RID=221 Slot=1 1s 2025/01/18 17:37:28 Group call; TG=3500 RID=123 Slot=1 6s 2025/01/18 17:37:36 Group call; TG=3500 RID=221 Slot=1 1s 2025/01/18 17:37:38 Group call; TG=3500 RID=123 Slot=1 1s 2025/01/18 17:38:34 Group call; TG=3500 RID=112 Slot=1 3s 2025/01/18 17:38:39 Group call; TG=3500 RID=123 Slot=1 2025/01/18 17:38:39 Group call; TG=3500 RID=124 Slot=1 1s 2025/01/18 17:39:08 Group call; TG=3500 RID=125 Slot=1 1s 2025/01/18 17:39:11 Group call; TG=3500 RID=124 Slot=1 2025/01/18 17:39:12 Group call; TG=3500 RID=124 Slot=1 1s 2025/01/18 17:39:21 Group call; TG=3500 RID=114 Slot=1 1s 2025/01/18 17:39:24 Group call; TG=3500 RID=123 Slot=1 1s
Why do I feel like this program has been going downhill recently?
Agreed. If they see this and know that they are appreciated that's good enough for meBTW, I have not managed to guess who the developer is, either. Nor do I plan to expend any effort in that direction. If you're here, then I will say thank you for a marvelous radio tool.
The OP isn't interested in reacquisitions. Just new talker aliases.

DSD+ v2.5 said:
the -E logging option adds tuned frequency information to DSDPlus.event entries
DSD+ 2.516
Removed -t -T and -E command line parameters.
Added menu controls for console window and console log file.

You're free to come up with something better.a tremendous feature-rich program, the support absolutely sucks.
The text file I got with the update is current. My only gripe is they prepend the update so you get everything. Can you message the author to have the dsdplus.txt file updated so it's current?
A new Fastlane subscriber would need more than just the update. However, I agree that wading through a lot of obsolete info can be a problem. The text file I got with the update is current. My only gripe is they prepend the update so you get everything.
All that is needed is the update. Prudent people save the text file with their backup.
