Got it to work and it works great.
Next question how do I make it scan to pick up all the county channels not just one.

Well, poster joeuser gave you one option. The second would be to download a scanner plugin, just do a search for SDR Plugins.

Try changing the sample rate from 2.4 to 1024, and see if that helps any.

Changing the sample rate from 2.4 to 1.024 made all the difference for me. Set to 2.4 MSPS, data was scrolling, but only an occasional muffled sound was coming over the speaker. Now perfect copy.

Hair pulling time is over with.

It would be nice if some program could do an auto adjust or maybe auto analyze then adjust. I should think automating some of these headaches would be doable resulting in less issues.
