You can use the -F option to bypass the CRC error, but I wouldn't recommend it unless its a trunking system and all the CSBKs are RAS enabled. The CRC is already bypassed for the PI header and relevant VLC/TLC anyways.

well, I can hear RAS without issues, but what I needs is to know if there is a way to display info in DSD-FME console about if a DMR signal have RAS or not, for example a text indicating that the signal have RAS, is there any option for that?

If you use the -F option, and then look at the log file (2> log.txt) you'll see a -RAS by any header that the BPTC reserved bit is set to 1 on, which is what a RAS system uses. I don't let to allow RAS by default, because if the CRC is bad, the alternative to it being RAS is that there is too many bit errors, including potentially the reserved bit that would trip a RAS detection.

I've also observed systems that use RAS on only certain headers, like VLC, TLC, and PI, and others that also do CSBK and DATA PDU headers.

Screenshots, logs, anything?
Sure, in the link you will find a baseband recording used in both systems. One subfolder contains screenshots and logfile from Cygwin and the other corresponding files from the DragonOS installation. Both SDR++ and DSD-FME updated to latest available release on both systems. The baseband recording looks speed up or something when replaying in SDR++ but it works for sure in the Cygwin installation. And with live SDR-feed behaviour is exactly the same, Cygwin-install works but not the DragonOS.

Having trouble with the synthesised voice using Windows portable, the audio sounds overly digital and raspy, its showing

--Input Output----------------------------------------------------------------
| OSS Signal Input: 48 kHz; 1 Ch;
| OSS Audio Output: 48 kHz; 1 Ch; G: 30% (+/-) Auto

The audio sounds better in Ubuntu, the main difference I can see is the Output sample rate is 8 kHz in Ubuntu.
--Input Output----------------------------------------------------------------
| Pulse Signal Input: 48 kHz; 1 Ch;
| Pulse Digital Output: 8 kHz; 2 Ch; G: 30% G: 30% (+|-) Auto

Any way to improve this in Windows?

I was having this trouble too, tinny raspy and digital sound. There might be a way to change the OSS Audio Output to 8kHz, but in the meantime the workaround I found was to launch the Pulse Audio server. In the dsd-fme github code, there's a folder in dsd-fme/examples/cygwin_bat that contains 2 files named "9pa-start-pulse-audio-server.bat.old" and "9pa-stop-pulse-audio-server.bat.old". Just remove the ".old" and place them in your dsd-fme-portable folder and double-click to start. Then add somewhere in your dsd-fme command "-o pulse" to use the PulseAudio server.
e.g. dsd-fme -o pulse -q -1 0x3131313131 -P -r %%F

Hello.

It's been a while since I stopped using DSD-FME. I have a cygwin compiled version 2025-163-gce805a7. I don't know if something have changed lately, but although i have the following arguments active when starting DSD: -i tcp:127.0.0.1:7355 -fs -T -N 2> "%~dp0dsd_log2.txt" for some reason the AMBE frames on voice calls are not being logged. What am I doing wrong? It used to capture them perfectly. Has something changed?

Regards.

Sorry, I missed -Z argument. It's all working great now. Regards!

Hello, I receive a system that gives me this information, I suspect TAIT but I am not sure what type of encryption it uses, do you know it?
BS DATA DCC=1 TLC Enc GC End TG=1410 RID=13475

That's not enough information to go off of, and that looks like it was dumped from DSDPlus FL, All I can see there is a terminator for an encrypted event, and that it is a DMR Tier 3 system (SYS_Parms).

Hi, I wonder if DSD-FME supports SQLite3 database logging for DMR transmissions. I noticed such info on one of the Git forks of DSD-FME.

Hello. What's the format of the .csv with the Motorola BP keys? Can you give me a short example?

Hello dear community.
I am using sdr++ (rigctl server / sinks) with dsd-fme and everything is going very well with moto TIII. The only difficulties i have it’s to be able to see a log (an event view) same as i have when using DSD Fast Lane. So i am wondering is there any way to display activity in DSD Fast Lane when using sdr++ and dsd-fme?

Well, yeah, only I don't know exactly what format is DSD-FME expecting. I mean... If key ID is 00 is it expecting the key to be 01 in DEC? The logs usually show key ID in HEX...

If you clicked the link that was posted above, it literally tells you what it wants.
I know man, no need to scold me. It's only that I'm not sure if being that FME shows key ID in HEX it would take DEC as key ID.

Also I'm experimenting with Moto BP keys, which if I understand correctly is only 255 possible keys, going from 1 to 255 but I don't know if those should be expressed as DEC or HEX

It's right there in the link. If you don't trust what's in the example file, program up a key and give it a try.
