I have SDR Sharp version 1331 feeding a signal to DSD1.6 through a VB Cable, but the Apco 25 signal I am trying to decode is not getting to DSD, and Lame is in the DSD folder. I have turned off both my antivirus and firewall but nothing changes. If I hook up a scanner with a discriminator tap, I get a signal to DSD and perfect decode, Any ideas?

What did you do differently when you re-installed? I am having the same problem with exactly the same software. I can test the audio through DSD+ by using SDR# and a local FM radio station, but not when I'm receiving a control channel.

Pinkfish what do you have so far? Is SDR reciving a digital signal? Is DSD decoding anything? Is DSD getting any audio? We will get you straight

The only thing I did was, once I downloaded everything I wanted and before installing, I turned off my antivirus and firewall.

Yes I am getting a good signal into SDR. DSD is not decoding anything. DSD is not getting any audio. I have not tried turning off antivirus & firewall.

I've tried using Unitrunker & DSD, no decoding, no audio.

In SDR Sharp and you changing the output in the audio section? You need to change that to the VB Cable.

SDR# & DSD+ Settings

Here are my settings for SDR# and DSDPLUS. There was no signal present when I snipped these two images, only the settings. I did install the free version of VBCABLE, if that makes any difference.

At this point all I need is to have DSD+ start scrolling.

Take the check mark out of FM Stereo, and put one in Correct IQ
Everything else looks good.

Your Gain Setting is pretty high, have you tried it at a lower setting?

I tried your suggestions, thanks, and still nothing. I deleted the free VBCABLE and installed the Virtual Audio Cable, with the same results, no audio into DSD+.

I'm thinking it's DSD+, how difficult is DSD to install and use?

Thanks again........

I would install the DSD Interface plugin. That way, your decoder isn't directly tied to your audio level. (it has a separate level for DSD+). Agree about the FM Stereo and Correct IQ boxes.

More of the same.

It's me again. I followed all of the suggestions. I did a fresh install on another computer with SDR#, DSD+ and VBCable with the SAME results. Attached are the headers from my DSD+ setup and one from DSDPLUS setup. Mine does not have the signal indicator line. It changes from S/S=2400 to 4800 to 9600, but does nothing else.

I'm sure it has to do with the DSD+ install. I've tried VBCable & Virtual Audio Cable, same results.
