DSD+ plugin and SDR Sharp

I downloaded SDR Sharp 1.0.0.1347 and it working OK, I downloaded the DSD+ Russian plugin and installed it's SDRSarp.DSD.DLL into the SDRSharp directory. I copied and pasted this line <add key="DSD" value="SDRSharp.DSD.DSDPlugin,SDRSharp.DSD" /> and pasted it into the SDRSharp.exe.Confug file and when I start SDRSharp this box comes up,


when I click OK on the box it starts SDRSharp but the DSD+ plugin is nowhere to be found, can someone tell me what I am doing wrong and how I go about installing the DSD+ plugin so I can use DSD+ and DSDSharp together. thank for any information.

As I recall, the the line needs to be added to the Plugins.xml file instead of the SDRSharp.exe.config file.

A belated thanks for that tip. I was ripping out my few remaining hairs trying to figure that out. It certainly seemed logical that that line would go into the config file.

I have it working, but now I've found another mystery. If I run DSD+, the plug in works fine. However, if I want to feed DSD-VC, I can't get SDR to feed signal. I changed the input setting to match what I have in SDR#. I can feed it if I don't use the plug in, but activating the plug in as opposed to changing the settings in DSD+ manually results in nothing.

I'm obviously missing something.

Do you have the DSD-VC input set to the output of the virtual cable?

Hopefully you are using a virtual cable, as it makes things so much easier since the output of the plugin is independent from the main volume/mute controls.

That wasn't the problem, but I did make sure that was set up. The problem was in the way I had the plug in configured. As it turns out, I decided not to use the plug in that way as it wasn't necessary. I just use DSD+ itself and it does what I want. It's a neat little plug in.
