Wouldn't the data call be over by the time you tuned to the traffic channel?

I use TimeShift for SDR#, best plugin ever, you should check if you haven't heard it! :) Thanks, so I guess that decoding of NEXEDGE data calls is still not implemented on this version.

Very happy so far. I've finally got the hand of aliases and have frequency data displaying in the Channel Activity window and some Talk Groups aliased as well.

I don't know if this is the proper place for a feature wish list, but I'll post mine here and let a moderator move it as appropriate.

A "lock out" feature for talk groups would be nice. On the Con+ Network I monitor locally AAA monopolizes a lot of air time. Being able to ignore their talk groups would be nice.

Voice Channel Steering. Which would make the program more like a scanner. That would likely involve two dongles or maybe more for a busy system.

I'm sure there are other things that will pop up the more I use it.

BTW, I think Fast Lane is a good idea.

May be kinda stupid but what's different from the other DSD version? Like a list of new features. Anyone got a video made if the new dsdplus yet?

The auto mute problem I had was when a signal on MotoTrbo was distorted by a mobile in a poor area or 2 mobiles keyed and distorted the signal enough to trick the program it was encrypted . I am not far from the tower and have a very strong signal with no errors and tuning made no difference . The 1.72 option took care of the auto mute problem for me with many thanks and many thanks to everyone for the program.

DSDPlus v1.072 crashed on me a little over 4.5 hours of operation. Attached picture shows it restarting but it never did.
Had to close and restart the program.
It is working great on muting the encryption. Thanks a bunch for this feature!!!

I'm also seeing pretty much the same behavior regarding alias info as described in post #12. I started on a NEXEDGE48 CC, then learned how to use the scan feature of FMP. When I started scanning with it I started seeing alias info on all system channels.

Great great job on FMP, what a nifty addition!

First, my FMP won't recognize the RTL dongle. I re-installed the zadig driver already and rebooted. SDR# as well as HDSDR still function fine. But all I get from FMP is:

C:\DSDPlus1p072> fmp 2 1 30 443.5875
FMP rev 1.18

Usage: FMP WaveOutDevice# SDRdevice# PPMcorrection frequency

SDR sampling rate = 1.008 MHz
Spectrum window width: 512
FFT size: 32,768
Spectrum update rate: 10 Hz
Step size table: 5.000 6.250 7.500 12.500 15.000 25.000
DSD+ path: '.'
Primary frequency list: '.\FMP-FreqList.csv'
Secondary frequency list: '.\FMP-RRSystems.csv'
Database search distance: 99.90 miles
Base latitude/longitude: 19.7163 -155.6241
Audio output device #1 = 'Speakers (High Definition Audio'
Audio output device #2 = 'Line 1 (Virtual Audio Cable)'
Audio output device #3 = 'Digital Audio (S/PDIF) (High De'
Audio output device #4 = 'Speakers (High Definition Audio'

SDR device count=1
usb_open error -12

Any advice?

Secondly, I am decoding DMR pretty well, yet only the time slot 2 for some reason. I have used the "3" runtime switch to ask DSD+ to decode both TS's, yet no joy. Anyone else see this?

Thanks!

Mitch

Do we need to re-run DSDtune, if there have been some tweaks done? Well, likely before a reply is made, I will have done it :)

Actually tried and noticed some issues. It does not like the "ds" parameter. DSDtune chokes when trying to process that. Evidently it doesn
't like the new "increment by fives" I had to edit some of my "bat" files to change them by steps of 5. Anywho.. dsdtune won't work... but doing it manually actually isn't as bad as I thought... takes about 5-10 mins to tweak.

Looks like you're in luck. From the fast lane features list in DSDPlus.txt:

Cool. I missed that when I read the Fast Lane future features section. I read that like three times and still missed it.

Somewhere in this room. Right now, you're very col
Neat features coming down the pike - multi vfo? Awesome! I just hope that taking money (even as a donation) doesn't draw the ire of DVSI and Big M's lawyers who just love to shut down stuff like this.

Looking forward to playing with this new version - will probably wait until the weekend when I can take more time to play. Thanks for all the hard work on this!

Part one solved with a new WinUSB driver install apparently...still testing but FMP now starts.

Still looking to understand the Time Slot issue with DMR however

...chop...

SDR device count=1

Your problem appears to be using a device index number that is higher than the number of devices attached. If you have one SDR plugged in, then your index number should be 0 (zero).

Why would "1" be too high? The second param is the RTL

It works now with a fresh WinUSB zadig install.

My only issue now is on DMR where it only decodes TS2

Thanks for the release, I'm monitoring a TIII DMR system here, I am seeing otally different information shown in DSD then what's displayed in DMRDecode v74. I can post logs and screenshots to the author(s) if required.
