Hi, I am wondering why my setups are not displaying information such as the talkgroup numbers whilst I am decoding local DMR systems?

A problem as I am wanting to program them into other equipment.

Setup is an AOR AR-DV1 (using the discriminator output; the DV1 now displays the colour code and timeslot following a recent firmware update but not as yet the talkgroup in use; AOR say this functionality may be added later).

Anyone got any suggestions? Signal is about 3 S points on the meter.

So what is DSD+ actually displaying?
Can you make a raw recording using DSD+ and post a link to the uploaded file for analysis?

(If I were to make a guess right now, I'd say your DV1 isn't actually outputting a discriminator signal)

The audio is very garbled. The DV1 manual says the discriminator output is active in FM mode, via the AUX output.

Any help?

I must admit, I am already a bit confused though. From the event file you post, it already shows the Talkgroup (eg TG=65485). You will have DCC from the Events Log window. You have the Slot number too eg Slot=1.

The bit that it is showing though is that the call is encrypted (Enc). The Event Log window will show if it is Basic Privacy or Enhanced Privacy. This would explain why the audio sounds garbled.
