Sorry to bring up an old thread but I just noticed the system I am monitoring is doing the same thing. its system 268 in the bay area. I don't understand how to look at the log file to see all the LCNs etc. I'm logging the data correctly, but I don't see any LCN's or frequencies.

can someone help?

GIven how critical this is, if you have any further questions this evening about this and the network map is still being broadcast, shoot me an email at my username @gmail.com and I'll help ya out. you don't want to miss a network map transmission if you can avoid it.

When you get a successful repeater map, and you open the file in your favorite text editor, there will be too sections. Be cautious of this.

You will use the top half to update anything on RR

You will use the bottom half when programming the DSDPlus.Sites file in DSDPlus

You don't want to accidentally scroll down to the bottom half and use that data to update the RRDB as the LCNs will be wrong.

Are you just monitoring the CC? Or do you have a multi-dongle setup? I ask because the network map might be broadcast on any slot of any LCN. So if you are just monitoring with one dongle, you might see the control report it but it can't tune to the LCN to get it.

In that case, if it's still broadcasting, tune to whichever LCN it says the network map is being broadcast on. Then let it sit there for an hour and give it a cchance to create the file.

Are you running the latest FastLane version? The latest Fl versions will write the file to the DSDPlus directory in a file called something like:

ConP 141 Network Repeater Map v020825.txt

Obviously the 141 will be different as will the v028025.

Mike

I'm using two dongles, using FMP24

Running latest fastlane.

Ok, assuming you have the DSDPlus.Networks, DSDPlus.Sites, etc. all set up and your DSDPlus knows what frequency to switch to when it sees a network map being transmitted on a particular LCN, it should automatically go there and fetch the map.

Worst case scenario, if you know for yourself which frequency is broadcasting the network map, just tune to it with the main DSDPlus receiver.

Gotta get that network map!

Well, after the trouble shooting we did on the phone and my own tweaking here, I still got nothing.

I'll be sending the raw audio to DSD and see if they can figure it out.

Thanks again.

Ok. I sent you some emails this morning. We'll have to figure out what is wrong, but there is definitely something wrong. We'll have to figure out why you are getting the errors that you are getting in decode.
