I think Firefox might be getting too "secure" for its own good. I can't get it to go to Yahoogroups any more. It complains about the redirect. No problem with IE.

Try Pale Moon. It uses the Firefox engine, but without a lot of the more recent "improvements" that Mozilla has made.

Not I. Keep in mind that if you happen to be using SDR software in combination with one of the cheap USB dongles, those dongles drift all over the place. I have a Nooelec dongle, and it can't stay on frequency [or at least close enough on frequency] to be dependable for long term decoding.

Of course, I have other cheap dongles that do stay [relatively] on frequency after they warm up. But the Nooelec Nano I have drifts all over the place the whole time it is fired up.

Per the DSDPlus readme file:

-D1 -D2
Use -D# to control which DMR voice slot is decoded and synthesized.

When I attempt to use -D1 as a command line parameter, the program spits back an "invalid parameter" error.

Happens to me occassionally. I fix it by stopping HDSDR and then shutting down DSD+. I then restart HDSDR and DSD+. Always works for me.

If you never can hear decoded audio or only hear occassional beeps you have to check your volume settings.

If DSD+ never starts to decode at all you have to set your input and output audio devices properly.

Hope this helps!

I have the same issue with the Noolec drifting as well. I thought it was my setup only, but appears other people have it as well.

A new EDACS system? EDACS has seen obsolete for a while now, replaced by OpenSky (which pretty much flopped) and P25.

I think he's confused by the talk of a new Sudbury P25 system and their existing EDACS system.

Sounds like a mess of stuff.. definitely an EDACS control channel with what sounds like bits of ProVoice transmissions.

yes, thats what I think it is, funny thing, dsd wasn't producing anything. no errors or repeat. And my setup should have worked.

Oh well, no biggie.. I thought it was a new type of digital speech format....
