Right, but ADP is not the recommended encryption protocol for law enforcement. APX1000 cannot do AES256, and I assume that DSP would specify AES256 for their subscribers and any local department that would want to interoperate directly. Then again, the DSP rushed into encryption before deploying the new statewide system, so maybe they are fine with ADP in the interim.ADP is free. AES 256 is not. ADP is the standard encryption in every Motorola APX radio sold.
