By East Brandywine Fire Company October 12, 2010 East Brandywine Fire Co. was dispatched to an Auto Accident with injuries at 10:37 on 10/05/2010. Shortly after responding Chief 49 was advised that the County was upgrading the call to involve Entrapment. Chief 49 arrived on scene to find a two vehicle accident with the driver of the car entrapped. Engine 49 responded with a crew of five. The Engine split crews with EMT Piersol initiating patient care while the rest of the crew went to work removing the door and roof. Rescue 45 made the response and upon arrival helped the crew of Engine 49 extricate the victim. 46 EMS was on the scene to take over care of the patient and transport the patient to Paoli Trauma Center. 33 AMB took one patient to the Trauma Center.
