I have heard traffic on the old tg 944 ("BUSSES") in the last hour. I haven't heard anything on 3611 today, been listening on and off for most of it.

I just heard some traffic on 3611.

Heard some fire guys testing radios first on TG-2662 which they ID'd as TAC-22. After that they switched to TG-2662 which they ID'd as "Command 2". One of the users on the radio was ID'd as "Battalion 2".
They switched from 2662 to 2662? Which TG were they on first? 2662 is ALCO Command 2; that's pretty much confirmed.

I refer to them now as the TACO channels. Anyhow, after reviewing some past documents every radio on the system is going to have an Interop zone. Public Safety radios will have additional zones for Interop that are smaller in operation (i.e., County restricted for example). My feeling is that the 1xxx are the larger area Interop channels. There will probably be ones specific to a City too.

It also appears that any 7### are Contra Costa County agencies and any 3### are Alameda County agencies. With the exception of 1###, which look like Alameda County wide talkgroups.

If no one else has noticed...

Nobody panic, but I went ahead and put place markers for all the agencies on the system. It's just going to help the admins later when new talkgroups become known. (GPS radius have been added as well).

Also, please check wiki for notes on unknown talkgroups as well as radio ids

Looks like 2xxx and 6xxx are Fire in ALCO and CCCO, respectively.

Albany PD dispatch active on 3055. DB updated.

Berkeley PD testing "4" TG 3108

Berkeley related I'm assuming TG 3112, talking about a "DMT?" machine? maybe parking meter related?

Emeryville PD active, DB updated.

I don't think I would classify 1xxx as ALCO only. COCO has to have their own and there don't appear to be any common ones out of that range.

I know which radio ID's use which and there's a new range using 41430xx (seen on Concord PD 1, Pleasant Hill PD 2, CCSO Central, 7167(Enc), 7169 and 7170) using the 7xxx block. Does seem like a COCO agency. I haven't caught any usable voice.

on 3356, two units were attempting to contact newark pd

they said it was their channel 2 but they may not have switched over to the new "bandwave" yet.

True, but we haven't seen any wide area ones active for COCO yet to test that therory so...I guess it's up in the air.

Side note, they are all thinking way too logical over there at EBRCS. All radio ids with 3### are alameda county and all 4### are contra costa county. they make it so simple.

Hearing what sounds like a main PD dispatch channel on TG-3155 ALCO NW this morning. I have not been able to ID it yet. Definitely a smaller department. Not much radio traffic. One of the units I heard was "318" going to a 10-33. I have to leave for work in a few minutes and wont be able to monitor in case anyone else wants to listen up. Also Berkeley is having radio problems this morning.

3155 was IDd as Emeryville yesterday.

Are Albany and Emeryville fire dispatched by ALCO? if so only Berkeley fire should be only FD agency left.

Well, it looks like when you view the talkgroups sequentially , they are in order alphabetically and spaced at 55 intervals. 3055, 3105, 3155 etc

So figuring the missing agencies
Alameda 3005
Fremont 3205
Hayward 3255
Newark 3355
San Leandro 3555
Union City 3605

Are my guesses with Alameda and Fremont partially confirmed by monitoring.

I am hearing officers doing radio checks with a dispatcher this morning on ALCO SW, TG 3655. Units heard were 1-Adam-9, 2-Adam-20, 2-Adam-14 and David 18. Also heard 5-George-1 logging on to go 10-8.

Did you catch any radio IDs?
That could be ACSO?
