TG 7508 - Richmond PD Tac 4 (Enc)
All encrypted traffic now on what I'm guessing we'll call Tac 4 - didn't hear a reference to it, just fits in with the numbering scheme...
All 4300xxx radios seen.

based on some actual radios ive seen, west county agencies have a standard lineup. ch 4 in the radios have been labeled "investigations" or similar and encrypted. i'll add this and see if the others come up this way as well.

Which talkgroup ID are you thinking is "tac 2"?
We have identified two full time encrypted talkgroups for Richmond. 7508 and 7510.

Per Richmond pd dispatch tonight tac one is 7509 is used for the officers working the snowball dance
There are some Richmond FD radios mixed in that range. I haven't figured out if they're in groups or just random by accident. The ones I have identified are Station radios though.

They have been quite silent over the last few years, but I found this document on the web which may indicate a return to two way radio:

Hearing talk today about machines that aren't printing tickets, not accepting forms of payment, etc. Parking Enforcement, for sure.
By searching "Parking DMT" in Google, I came up with this from the City of Berkeleys website
Q4. What is the dispensing machine ticket?
A. The dispensing machine ticket (DMT) is your proof of legal parking. The DMT is generated from the ParkEZ Station once you have paid for your desired time. You take the DMT and place it face up on the street side of the vehicle's dashboard, so that the expiration time and date are visible from outside the vehicle. For angled parking and normal parking on the right side of the road, use driver’s side dashboard. When parking on the left side of one-way streets, use the passenger side dashboard.
The DMT also provides the parker with a smaller portion that you can take with you shopping to remind you of the legal parking time. (See Figure

Sounds like Union City is back on the old system today. Anybody know of any problems?
Last week the techs did extensive coverage testing throughout U.C. with many mobiles testing all freqs and sites. Sounds like the quality is not up to par. This may be why no other agency has been active on the ALCO SW Cell.
There is a "5 Charles 1" unit doing radio checks at various spots around Union City this afternoon on TG 3655.

TG 3005 sounds like it just went live. Dispatch put out "all units we're doing a radio check. " picking it up on alco east
should be Alameda PD
