Echoes

In listening to the Saint John Fire feed this evening, I am hearing an echo with each transmission. Each transmission repeats itself. I also notice this with the NS Fire and EMS feed as well. Does anyone know why this occurs and if there is anything one can do to eliminate the echo on the listening end?

He is reporting this issue with both the online feeds. I've listened to both for 30+ minutes and did not have this issue. I'll keep listening though.

Yes, the echoes were in the online feed, not from my scanners. It seems to have rectified itself now. Very odd.
