Playback echo on feed

I am recently getting an "echo" on my feed. Plays radio traffic and translation working, but each transmission repeats itself at very low volume.
Feed # 40337. "Sonoma County Fire-EMS and Sheriff Dispatch"

Volume maxed out on player and maxed out on computer and can barely hear your feed. So low barely hearing an echo..

Scanner or sdr setup, if scanner which one?

What streaming software are you using? Audio input needs to be increased.

BCT15X using Proscan. I'll try increasing audio input, but I'm afraid that will also increase echo

Are you using a mono or stereo cable to import audio to the computer. And are you plugged into front or back output jack. If stereo cable on back output, probably your problem, on back jack need a mono cable. If plugged in front jack, try the back jack, but if using stereo cable may still have the problem.

Increased audio output and seems to be better

Switched audio output cable to external speaker output from recorder output. Maybe that helps

Stereo cable on back jack. I'll try mono next, but seems to be working much better. I wanted to use the recorder jack so could still listen to scanner. But, I do have several other scanners for monitoring, so not a huge deal

When using the ext speaker jack, does changing the volume on scanner change output volume?

In Proscan turn on loopback and you should hear it thru computer speakers.

Not sure on that scanner but on my 325P2 it does when you change the volume.

It's all analog channels so I have it set to 4
