I have seen comments about the recent Whistler/Radio Shack scanners being able to trunk track EDACS ProVoice trunked systems. Voice decoding is provided via dsd/dsd+ through the Discriminator Output.
I wonder if the scanners can work with EDACS Extended Addressing (EA) systems. I do not mean ESK, I mean the modified EDACS protocol that supports more sites, talkgroups, and radios. Systems include SLERS (FL), Cecil County (MD), and MBTA (MA).
