If you see P25, that is a Phase I talk group. PTx (0 or 1) is TDMA Phase II. the 0 or 1 represents the slot number.

DAT is the scanner listening to the control channel and LNK means that it has linked activity to your TG. It usually happens between transmissions. Think of it as a hold to watch if your TG comes up on a different frequency on the trunking system.

As mentioned looks like Elgin FD is P2 now , I also saw and heard TG 11001 testing today in the open but I thought I read So.Elgin moved to TG 11022?

Elgin FD flips between Phase 1 and Phase 2. Obviously not all radios are Phase 2 programmed. Pretty hectic Thursday night, eh?

I believe EFD and SEFD are on the same talk groups. He was referring to South Elgin PD. 11001 was in the clear...11022 is EVIL.

I hear nothing onTG 11001 SE dispatch, they have moved to TG 11022 ENC
