May be using EF Johnson Radios VHF 5100 Portables and 5300 Series for mobiles. They are fully interoperable with the State of South Dakota Trunking System. The 5100/5300 radios are multi-protocol and support Motorola 3600 proprietary controlchannels, as well as Project 25 9600 baud trunking control channels.
