Encripted channels

Hi does any body know if laredo pd and fd channels still encripted cause iam a feed provider and if they are not encripted so i can buy the home patrol scanner. Thanks

Save your money. They have been encrypted for many years and that is not going to change.

i really don't see a point why they would be encrypted i would understand the police dept. Even though they put a new system called police to citizens on their web site letting anyone in the community to see the calls the police officers have responded too also u can see the reports they have filed. But the fire dept should really go unencrypted its just a waste of tax payer money for them to be encrypted.

so they still are because i saw on the data base shows only digital not encripted that why i was asking.

yeah i thought so too when the database got updated. But i dont have a digital scanner so idk,
