When getting search results in the database, is there a way to know if a particular frequency is encrypted? I obviously don't want to waste my time trying to receive a signal if it is encrypted.
Thanks
Thanks
Can you describe the noise? Does it sound like a loud buzzing noise like maybe a boat motor, or does it sound like a scrambled noise as if they're underwater or something? Thanks for the replies. I don't see an 'E' or 'e' in the mode column, but I cannot seem to hear any transmissions on those frequencies. Just noise as if it was encrypted.
It could be a digital mode that your scanner/receiver is not compatible with. What are you using? Thanks for the replies. I don't see an 'E' or 'e' in the mode column, but I cannot seem to hear any transmissions on those frequencies. Just noise as if it was encrypted.
More like the boat motor; like a digital signal that is not decoded. Can you describe the noise? Does it sound like a loud buzzing noise like maybe a boat motor, or does it sound like a scrambled noise as if they're underwater or something?
No listing or license for that frequency in Kootenai County. Perhaps it would help if you posted a link to the listing you're looking at in the RR database so we're not all guessing here.460.575 Kootenai County Idaho
How do I look up listing/licenses for a particular county? Is that a separate function from the database here on RR?No listing or license for that frequency in Kootenai County. You stated that you already found the listings in the RR database, did you not? Post a link to the page you were looking at, and which frequencies you're referring to.How do I look up listing/licenses for a particular county? Is that a separate function from the database here on RR?
I don't see any listing for 460.575, so I assume you meant 460.475 for the PD? What are you using to try to receive that frequency, a scanner? If so, which model, and do you have the channel programmed for digital? It's listed as both analog and P25 in the database, so try locking out the analog if you have them both programmed.I am looking at the frequencies here. None of them show encrypted.
The reason I mentioned 460.575 is because it is vary active. I was trying to figure out what it is. With regard to 475, I have tried both analog and digital with the same results; nothing legible heard. I have used both my RS Pro-96 and SDR#.I don't see any listing for 460.575, so I assume you meant 460.475 for the PD? What are you using to try to receive that frequency, a scanner?
