BCD436HP/BCD536HP: Encryption but not

Hello, while reviewing discovery results I noticed my scanner said "Encrypted" about a unknown talkgroup that was found, the talkgroup was not encrypted, does anyone know why the scanner said this? Thanks for any help

Some talkgroups are only partially encrypted, sometimes encrypted and sometimes in the clear. Which talkgroup are you speaking of? Is it on the AIRS system?

I am thinking that would be the only possibility but I heard what I needed to so they couldn't have been hiding much, no this is a unlisted event channel, it is a police event channel

It see that a lot and I am convinced it's a flaw in the firmware. The scanner falsely thinks a transmission are encrypted when it is not. You usually don't notice this flaw as in normal scan it justs skips that conversation. You see it when you do search as encryption are monitored in that mode, or if you have another non-Uniden scanner monitoring the same systems.
