I saw that someone added dispatch talkgroups to PSEC system from cities that are currently on the ERICA system. I saw that Beaumont and Indio have agreed to join PSEC. I didn’t delve into the other cities joining but I assume that is the case.

i also saw that Murrieta and Hemet fire departments will be joining PSEC too.

Every fire department in the western end of the county (tribal excluded) either has, or will soon have, talkgroups on PSEC, including county fire. To my knowledge, Murrieta is the only agency with plans to fully cut over.

Yes I have heard they currently have an ISSI link to the ERICA System I'm sure they will do a complete cut over. Additionally, I have heard all Fire Departments will be cutting over as well in the spring 2024 with full encryption.

Yes. ERICA is going away. March 31st will be the last day for ERICA being online. Palm Springs PD was the last ERICA agency to switch and they cutover to PSEC about a week ago.

I think Cathederal City Fire too right? Also, we all know any agency that joins PSEC will have no clear talkgroups ever. Even FIRE too. Sad truth. Chip away slowly. Can you imagine Hemet Fire and Murrieta FIRE locking down the doors down. What a major joke.....

Just make sure you guys never move out to that nasty hole of a city called HEMET. This is where you live when you do not save money for retirement. HAHA. Truth. Trailer living.

Can we confirm that ERICA is officially off the air, so that we can go ahead and depreciate in the Db?

Thank you

ERICA is done, I spoke with Riverside County comm folks at a recent industry meeting. It's off the air, and the JPA is disbanded. According to them. And I think they'd know.
