Can anyone help me find Evan’s County frequencies? They updated earlier this year to digital. I have a Whistler scanner and need the new information.
The page hasn’t been updated but I talked to someone in our county and he said he didn’t know anything about this ages.
The county will not release information.

Yes they went digital earlier this year using NXDN.
I don’t understand much of this stuff but bought a new scanner now and can’t get the info I need to have someone set it up for me.

What kind of whistler scanner? I don't own one, so don't know for sure, but I have seen conflicting reports that whistlers do not properly "trunk track" NXDN, so your mileage may vary.

Other than that, try programming these frequencies from their license as a trunked system and see if you can hear anything.

I’m not sure. The guy that works with Whistler has been trying to help me and he said the information wasn’t updated.

Does anyone know a way to get EC to update the information on radio reference.com website?

If by EC you mean Evans County, they don't. The database is updated by user submissions that get reviewed and published by a database admin. Unless you have now verified the new frequencies / trunked system / talkgroups, I wouldn't submit anything.

The county will not release information.
Nope. Not even worth bothering with. That's their basic OpSec.

I guess I’m just out of luck with a 600.00 scanner.
Thanks

I don't think you're out of luck at all. It sounds like you are just having a programming issue with that scanner.

Fortunately, GA
My problem is I can’t get the digital frequencies and the talk group that Evans County uses.
Google Digital Frequeny Search. Look up Evans county. They are using DMR, NXDN and P25.
You'll have to figure it out yourself.
I guess there is no one on RR from your county to give you a heads up.

I Provided you with the digital (NXDN Emissions) frequencies already. See below.

Other than that, try programming these frequencies from their license as a trunked system and see if you can hear anything.

154.1150
154.2425
155.0025
155.7150
155.9025
As far as the talkgroups, you will have to explore and find those on your own. That comes with any new trunked system, for everybody.

95% certain Evans county went VHF NexEdge Trunking. Same as Tatnall County. Same vendor supports both.

155.9025 - ch id 5

TG 1: Evans County Law (SO, Claxton PD so far)
TG 10: Evans Co Fire (so far this looks correct)
TG 13: Evans Co EMS

There are other talkgroups. Radios have talker aliases, so its fairly easy to identify who is using what talkgroups

Although 155.715 is current control channel, they probably rotate the control channels amongst all the freqs periodically.

This was submitted to the DB today
