i am building a aircraft type center console for my truck that is on a angle. i will be putting 2 types of scanners and a alinco dr 735t ham radio in there. looking for some flush mount external speakers with some type of cover grills, since factory speakers will be inside consoul. been searching the net but not knowing what watts would cover all three , thought i would ask the experts, if anyone knows where to find a speaker of this type thanks

So, 3 separate speakers, might be hard to fit in depending on how big the console is.

It's really hard to beat the Motorola external speakers. They can be disassembled and use the speaker and the front grill to mount flush on the console. Might be a bit big for what you are doing, but they have great sound.

These work very well. You'll need to put a suitable plug on the end, but that's not hard if you know how to solder.
And shop around, you can probably find them cheaper.

thanks for the link, yes i think they will work, just take the speaker out and use the front cover for the speaker gard on the console and they will all match.
