Where and how do I purchase the extreme upgrade for the HP1?
I had to ask "customer service" for my new HP-2. It's ONLY in your registered products list.
Log in and look in registration.
I had no idea I was purchasing a scanner that wasn't fully functional.
Not on the box or the Uniden HP-2 web page is there any mention of the need to purchase an "Extreme key".
Only after I found manuals (for the HP-1) in the HP-2 software folder was there any mention of it.
Links in the pdf manuals are also broken.

I've updated HomePatrolExtreme < HomePatrol < TWiki to be more generic as to HP-1 and HP-2. It has all the instructions for purchasing the upgrade.
As noted, this upgrade is not needed for any advertised features of the product. We have to pay additional royalties when the features are activated, so giving it away for free is not an option.
On the scanner itself yes. You can change them with Sentinel.Do you need the extreme upgrade for the HP2 to alter the channel delay times
