Folks, we've integrated some facebook integration for every thread.

Get in there and "like" your favorite threads. Enjoy!

hmmm...so that's what's going on. I don't participate on Facebook. Am I stuck seeing this all the time ? Not only that, but it's also activating the yellow drop down bar "To help protect your security, Internet Explorer blocked this site from downloading files to your computer. Click here for options..." It wasn't doing this yesterday.

Can't we have a "Do not show this again" checkbox and not have to see it anymore ?

Sooo....I have to go to FB, sign up on FB, come back to RR, click on 'like' my favourite threads and go back to FB to get updates on this thread ?

I'll get all the updates on this thread just by posting in it, or using Subscribe without having to post in it.

No, it's only for facebook users. If you aren't on facebook you can ignore.

I'm getting this as well. Almost every page visited on RR brings the yellow drop down bar with the message that this website is trying to download a file. Very annoying!

That's odd.

This is happening with IE?

That's odd.

This is happening with IE?

It appears that RR is trying to download a .css into the browser. "xd_proxy.css". Downloading the file opens up notepad with the following text inside...

.app_content_51546247891 a.uiLinkSubtle { display: none; }
.app_content_51546247891 a.UIImageBlock_ICON_Image { display: none; }

#bootloader_Zvucx { height: 42px; }

I don't have another browser here to try it with, but as mentioned above, I'm using IE8.

Just googled it, check here: Facebook Platform Developer Forum / [BUG] Javascript SDK Signon Bug?

I'm also running IE and I'm not seeing this occur. Are you running in protected mode or using some more stringent security settings?

Facebook has been having a few minor bugs lately with their social plugins - I suspect they will get this resolved shortly.

Nothing special, pretty much default settings all around.

I wish web sites would stop integrating with every other web site out there. It's nothing but a cyber orgie ! When one has a problem, everyone else gets infected !!! lol

I'm using Mozilla Firefox ver. 3.6.13 for Ubuntu Version 1.0 and am NOT seeing the drop down bar.

However, and I already posted this in the Live Feed Admin forum, this morning I tried to 'like' my own feed here, and got an error message which says:

Code:
You failed to provide a valid list of administators. You need to supply
the administors using either a "fb:app_id" meta tag, or using a "fb:admins"
meta tag to specify a comma-delimited list of Facebook users.
Facebook ©2010

However, if I type a message in and click post, it actually does post to my facebook newsfeed and it shows up in the feed's page. It's just the 'like' button that is getting an error.

Yep, can't really see this as being of any benefit whatsoever. But hey whatever floats your boat I guess.

That's ludicrous. The whole purpose of the world wide web was to link one page to another and so on. It's doing exactly as intended. I've not had any infections. The real blame should go to the malicious PoS that write viruses and malware.
