oh ouch.. thats to far off, maybe if i make my way down to the beach ill keep a walkie programmed before the day i go anyways this summer but then it might be to late to say i get reception if they are going to merge into the viper system.
Sorry for the delay. I was picking them up on 154.145 Duplin County Fire dispatch frequency. Skip was coming in good that night. Im about 70 miles away and was hearing them on desktop scanner.

Here in Surf City, I could only hear bits and pieces....
I was listening to Wayne County fire dispatching their units on 154.130.
I was also listening to the incident commander Sunday night on the Duplin Fire Viper TG, as well as duplin SO primary.
Here lately, starting around 6:30 pm until about an hour after sunrise, I can hear all sorts of stuff on VHF...
