This article on The Indianapolis Star's web site talks about an INDOT worker fatally injured this morning on US 36 near CR 600W in Putnam County. Morton is at CR 500W so it could be the same incident.

Thank You W9RXR for your post. The INDOT worker was killed after being hit by a car west of Morton in Putnam County on US 36. The Indy Star's story dd not include this infomation in the story. Putnam County Coroner was called to the scene for a 10-0.
