It's not the other 3 are off the air; they're being used for voice/data.The frequencies listed for the WFNC tower are
855.36250 (c)
857.31250 (c)
858.31250
859.31250
857.31250 is active. 855.36250, 858.31250 and 859.31250 are off the air.
The frequencies popping up on my Pro-197 are:
855.01250
856.26250
856.76250
857.31250
859.76250
None of these appear to be allocated to either the Fayetteville or the Durham site. Am I on the wrong tower? Why am I even seeing these? Are they in the database, or is the system sending me to them from the one active control channel on 857.31250?
Since you're seeing those freqs, those are frequencies in the system. Apparently, those are new and should be added to the RRDB. I was in Fayetteville this week. I arrived 10pm Sunday; I didn't run Pro96com while I was there so I didn't notice the new freqs myself.
I see prior posts about this Slocum tower; is it on the air? I didn't note any simulcast distortion; I'm thinking no. If it was I would have been receiving dropouts due to simulcast distortion. I was on S. Raeford Road and at Cliffdale @ Reilly.
