Is anyone not hearing FDNY borough dispatch's? I'm hearing the combined borough channel but not the individual ones for the last two days.
Being this is posted in the Broadcastify forum, I'd assume the formerAre you referring to a live feed of FDNY dispatch or are you listening to those channels directly?
Each individual channel on Broadcastify. Are you referring to a live feed of FDNY dispatch or are you listening to those channels directly?
Is your screen similar to this? Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens show the green bar moving only slightly when there is no broadcast. It does this all the time even when it was working. It's like the audio feed from the provider is open but the scanner is off.Same here. Not hearing any boroughs. Tried OPENMHZ also and nothing even though NYPD is coming in. Interesting.
I'm using the Broadcastify dashboard. I've no clue what you're using. Apparently something is wrong. Not sure about what you are looking at but I usually use openmhz for FDNY and it now only shows Manhattan with brief 2 or 3 second bursts with no audio. Nothing on the other boroughs. Tried to hear the 2 nd alarm this am and nothing. Listened on the other multi borough feed which was ok. Not sure what is going on.
Yes, I am aware of that.I assume you mean reported to the feed provider since broadcastify or openmhz are not responsible for the feed itself.
Each feed indicates it is online and there are X amount of listeners on each feed. It's been three days.Relying on a feed can be a pain. If you’re in the area consider a scanner or some sdr dongles so you can be in control of what you listen to. Otherwise give the feed providers time to reply.
No Brooklyn…manhattan with hum. Queens low..Bronx and SI OKI just tried it now and they are all working. Queens is very low though. I just wish someone had an idea of what might have been wrong.
not sure where the OP is but I am 300 miles from nyc so the feed is great to have. Also OP said he did try to contact the provider but not sure what answer he may have received. I am just thankful for any feed that might be available with the understanding that it is not always 100% reliable.Relying on a feed can be a pain. I absolutely agreeProblem is others don’t share your understanding and have hissy fits when something is not working.
