As I was passing through the Hudson Valley area last weekend, I picked up a few federal freqs in recordings that I thought I should pass on to those interested in listening, identifying, and submitting any. Unfortunately my scanner's clock wasn't set right so I'm not sure exactly what area some of these are from, but I'll provide the best estimation I can.

Nice report. I have most of Florida all figured out. Now I just keep digging for something new. It was a eventful year with both DHS and DOJ stamping out new P25 repeaters, but now it has slowed to a halt. Probably ran out of money. VHF DEA started strong in a few areas, but not all. FBI finally updated the old (long gone) analog resident agency repeaters with brandy new-frequency P25 repeaters. Even ATF got some new repeater freqs in major city areas. ICE built a huge linked statewide network (HSI, and not ERO). Of course we got CBP "clustered" everywhere with a whole new system that replaced both the analog BP and Customs systems. I got 'em all. Even simplex direct. Just waiting for the next new "test" keyup to pounce.

Hey...look at that...new hit on 172.5500 NAC 304. That is the Orlando East cluster NAC. No audio and only a quick hit. Not enough to call it yet, but I'm keeping a closer eye on that one. For all I know it could be a band opening from another state.

And I WILL NOT put my federal stuff out to the general public. The last thing I want to see is a Home Patrol scanner with this very sensitive stuff in it. I work for it. Crooks don't. There is still stuff to hear, and I want it to stay that way.

There is Omaha on AIR 3. Gotta run!
