Why does the database page for Oklahoma lack a federal link in the state's "Areawide Frequencies" category? 48 states have such a link, the only other state without one is Minnesota and I've written a similar thread on that state's forum page. I know there is one National Forest and one National Grassland in Oklahoma and there must be several units of the National Wildlife Refuge system there, not to mention other federal agencies.

There are a few federal listings on some of the county pages, for example Wichita Mountains NWR is under Comanche County.

I don't know why they didn't create an areawide federal page for OK. The areawide federal page for TX is a joke. Most of the federal listings in TX are on the county pages. In general the rrdb has different standards for different states and areas. Unfortunately a lot appears to be missing or messed up.

The database was set up to have access to federal, state, county and municipality sections. Trying to find federal listings buried down in the county sections is a pain, especially in midwest states where there is a county seat at all the intersections of two paved roads. The official RR policy is that they are to be listed as I indicated in my first post. I find there is a huge difference between what the database policy outlines and the reality of the database.

According to the DB Admin guide, that is what's supposed to happen. But if something is missing from the county pages submit it to be added.

6.2. CONVENTIONAL DATA
6.2.1. AGENCY PAGES

• Federal – any federal frequencies (it is a common practice to create a “Federal” agency page in a county and to place the federal frequencies for that county on that agency page, particularly if there are more than a handful of federal frequencies used in the county

I can't submit something that I don't know. I know that there is a Black Kettle National Grassland, Ouachita National Forest, and many other federal agencies in many cities in OK that are not in the database. If I can't receive or confirm something 200 miles away how am I supposed to submit it?
