Federal NAC 3F4?

picking up some P25 traffic,NAC coming up 3F4 on 411.125
some clear,some enc..not enough detail in the voice TX to take a
guess as to who it may be...looked i the fed nac list an no go..

maybe a local agency PD..

anyone know who is using the NAC?

3F4 a possible new talkgroup,,dont see it listed.

heard reference to being in the lobby,..didnt sound like maitnancenor did it sound like guards/security,,more like admin...one guy was clearly radio-ing from the bathroom...nice

I think you misunderstand. You're hearing just one freq of a trunked system in conventional mode. You should try programming in the system MtnBiker posted and seeing if you can track it. P25 trunked systems still send out NACs on their traffic channels which the NAC is generated based on the last two of the system ID (8C3F) and the numeric value of the connect tone (97.3 is #4).

The FED NAC list is only a Reference and may/may-not include info from the numerous FBoP TRS' trunks [not many look for a NAC in a TRS] and a certain NAC maybe related to ONE Frequency in a remote region, and might be used by another agency elsewhere.

ie: Altho we know $167 is usually the FBI, it has been used by other agencies. Similar to the $001 being used or the $293
