It was also reported as linked/patched with 168.8500, which I also had linked/patched/inputs of

166.0500, 167.5125, 169.9750R/162.6375

See if these others light up when 169.725 is active.

I had this listed for many years as being INS - Newark field office in apco25 mode. I will have to listen up again and see.

Has anyone come to a conclusion on the NAC numbering for non-ICE CBP repeaters? It seems to often be an x0y scheme with x and y incrementing based on different reasons.

Not having caught the inputs [enough times] on a routine basis, but it seems [assumption] that there is a common NAC input with the multiple NAC outputs. Since [in Boston] they trip multiple Rptrs at the same time.

I would think they are not patched at a console, but similar to how the FBI [Boston field office] is configured with ONE Input Freq to Multiple Output Freq.

Unfortunately most of the OPS occur when I am at work and end [they must be watching my Scanner turn on] :D as I get to my CAR

One example is the CBP repeater for SFO (airport) uses an In/Out NAC of 901 with 170.6250/166.2500. It's dedicated to the airport but still seems part of the scheme, yet less so.

Thanks all. In response to the question from ECPS 92, yes the NAC 326 is 170.700 and other NAC of 476 was on 163.6500 - both in Buff/Niag area.

Now another back in Albany Ny area was 168.450 with NAC of 100?

$100 on 168.4500 was DOE looks like they moved to P25

So far reported

168.4500 $100
167.8750 $150
167.8500 $200

I would venture it is combination of
Schenectady, Niskayuna and West Milton for Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory

Funny, except for 168.450, that is exactly what has been listed on NF2G's Forensic Scannist Pages under Schenectady County -> Government since at least June, 2009. Hmmmmm.

I'll check the additional freq and see if anything is there.

PS, did anyone catch anything during the Drill earlier this month?
can't find my Notes, but did see a STA [FCC] for the Mass US&R TF [Beverly EMA] to use their VHF Channels in NY State.

During the exercise a few months back(may not be the one you are referring to) I had heard 171.200 NAC was EA3 and in downtown Albany 164.450 was low power simplex with no pl. Sounded like local folks.

As for the other comments - Dave, I'm not sure if you are attempting to be funny, self-serving, or sarcastic about the Knolls frequency...............I was well aware of what was on your site and use it religiously and appreciate your work. I probably took it out of active rotation after not hearing anything However, my point is that while old frequencies we all tuned in back in the days of the tunable receivers (or Tom Kneitel's books) might still be out there........the one thing we know is that this is all changing constantly.

I had four other freqs for Knolls and the last active one showed an NAC of 200!

I truly do appreciate everyone's feedback.

hearing that same nac 935 on 168.9125 in nyc/north jersey area also. i haven't heard any clear talk on it yet only encrypted and key ups.

Yes exactly the same description- just encrypted Keyups every 5 min or so
I'll have to try your freq and see if I hear anything- are the keyups also often on that freq also?
