I haven't noticed any problems with my feed. I have your Lawrence Co Sheriff and Fire feed up now and I"ll listen to it for a while to see if it stops on me.

I'm guessing it is likely a problem on your end on your internal network.

Either:
1. You are saturating inbound or outbound bandwidth on your connection or your internet connection is intermittently bouncing

OR

2. You don't have a good wireless connection.

Sure, it could be RR - but I haven't seen any sign of that yet. How long do you hvae to listen before you experience that problem [so I'll know how long I have to listen to your feed before determining if there is a problem wtih teh feed].

If it were an RR problem, then there would be hundreds or more listeners experiencing the same thing.

I do have a suggestion for the Lawrence Co Sheriff and Fire feed - you should consider turning up the audio a bit. I'm listening on my laptop speakers with the player volume and my master volume up all the way and having difficulties hearing a lot of what is said because the volume is low.

Hmm, are you running a stereo feed with fire on one side and sheriff on the other? If so, both are a bit low.

The side you were listening to the NWS on _may_ be a _tad_ too loud now... or it may be just right. I heard you testing it and obviously you were monitoring it because it was clipping for a minute and then you turned it back down. Definitely sounds good now. Perhaps perfect, perhaps just a tad too loud. I can't really tell yet but I'll keep listening.

I think its significantly better now. As long as it isnt' clipping audio, it's better to be too loud vs too low. Anybody can turn it down in their player if it's too loud for them.

So as far as my ears go, they are hearing things very nicely now.

No, it didn't time out on me, but i stopped listening about 10 minutes ago (while I was programming my own scanner and becoming confused listening to your feed at the same time rofl).

But it didnt' time out at all during the time I listened.

I was having the same problem and just switched to Scannercast instead of the RR software.

Ham Radio Station K1PGV

This is freeware and is listed on the RR Wiki for streaming audio. It was easy to set up and I have been running for hours now without interruption.

Yes, it works with any scanner. Just select the audio only option.
