hello i have been out of scanning for years ever since it went encrypted for the police.i have an old gre 500 scanner turned it on the other day and just wandering if i can still hear fire board i have all the frequencies for analog and still have the old trunk system programmed in. is it still [possible to hear fire board on either the analog frequiencies or the treunked system on this older scanner. thank you for any help

You will need to update your scanner to newer one, since the GRE 500 can't decode P25 phase 2.
The old trunked system has been retired. I believe the conventional analog channels are still active, so you should still be able to receive these with your scanner.
