Firmware Update ?

Will I lose all my data, (Information I manually input), when updating to the new UID Firmware on the 396xt? In other words, since I don't use "Freescan" or any other Scanner Database to upload my Freq's, will the update erase my manually inputed frequencies?

No, the firmware update will not delete any of your programming.

It's recomended that you back up your programming before upgrading the firmware just in case the worst were to happen

But for 99% it's not a problem at all if instructions are followed.

It's always a good idea to back up your systems using FreeSCAN or another available software package however. Just in case. :wink:
