Pro-668: firmware update

I'm running Windows 10 and I keep encountering an issue with the RadioShack scanner software not being able to locate the scanner while its plugged up. Windows recognizes it and a message pops up telling me the scanner is connected to the computer. Anyone have any idea on how to get the scanner software to recognize the scanner or is there another way I can do this. Step by step instructions would be helpful if available.

Only thing I can think of is maybe ensure you have the latest drivers installed.

What model scanner? What software are you running?

I just bought the 668 and was having the same issues. This is my first scanner. I found this that finally helped windows 10 see the scanner. 4th post

For some reason I still don't see that anywhere. Hmmmm. I'm using Tapatalk, it just kinda brought me here. Oh well, I hope he gets it working.
