Fleetnet Zone 4

Just for anyone who might be interested I was out at West Hawk Lake MB on Tuesday near the border of Ontario and Manitoba and was getting the OPP on the Clearwater Bay tower CC 143.1000 Kenora Region on my PSR-500 . That is about 70 KMs away. Sounded great.

Hi... I have a RadioShack Pro-94 scanner that I use to listen to ambulance in Fleetnet Zone 1. It works fine there. I looked up the zone 4 frequencies and talk groups here, set the scanner up in the exact same manner and... nothing.

Is Thunder Bay ambulance dispatch not using Fleetnet? I can hear some transmissions on the ambulance repeater channels, so I know there is conversation, but the trunked system doesn't seem to be working.

Maybe I've set it up wrong?

Here's my set-up: (RadioShack Pro-94, located in Fort William)
System: "E2 – Hi" (Motorola Type II, VHF frequencies)
Base: 141.015
Spacing: 15

Frequencies: 142.725, 143.160
Talkgroup IDs: 35056, 35072

It's definately trunking.

problem solved

Added the following frequencies to Hazlewood and I'm able to scan fine now:

142.620
172.170

I've submitted for the wiki page for Fleetnet Zone 4 to be updated.
