Floppy antenna

Hi guys and gals !
Anybody have any tricks on how to stop a stock antenna on the back of the scanner from flopping on one side or the other and not staying straight !

You can take some coax tape and wrap the mast to the base in a figure 8 and that will keep it fixed in place and not affect reception. It can be removed easily, if need arises.

IF there's room, an adhesive, plastic, zip tie mount stuck to the back of the radio on either side of the antenna, bridged with a zip tie.
