Ok. Im using the latest version of UniTrunker.

and yes while i do see that fhp and Fish and wildlife seem tobe the main users. I am getting ranom tgs popup that may be encrypted or not and the School Buses for the Florida Def and Blind school. Not that i realy care to listen to them im just stumpted as towhy i have no audio.

That is only thing you'll hear is the FSDB School Buses. If you go NWFL you can hear a few counties fire/ems in the clear

and thats great. But my issue is even if the school busses are in the clear i cant hear them.

I use UT for site info that is about it. I'll put scanner on. UT I can't the audio to work.

Then that might be the same issue I'm having, Because i have be able to get audio with other EDACS Systems in UT So it may be an issue with this System and UT. Hmm

I don't know, maybe if you join their super secretive Google group and learn the secret handshake, they'll help you out, or try to fix SLERS. It might be the largest remaining EDACS system in the world, and yet, its the one that doesn't work in UT.

Already joined and already learned the "Secret Handshake". I don't think you have quite mastered it yet

Nah, I could never learn the secret handshake, so I just modified some software to make it work for me instead.

I honestly do not know the status of the 2.0 system, but from my vantage, none of the existing P25 SLERS sites have changed.

I’m pretty sure their first stage was subscriber replacement, and that seemingly has been competed, perhaps console replacement now? But I do agree with you that at least some construction should be happening

I did notice that this new antenna was put up recently at the Turnpike Plaza in Miami. Unknown if it’s SLERS 2.0 related, but chances are it is.

you would think that 2+years after the contract mess.... that there would be active construction going on.

One would think, and hope. But no. Instead all over florida theres road construction and nothing but housing developments going in every forest. To accommodate the rapid growth and overpopulation of florida.

Public Saftey infrastructure seems to be last on that list. I mean look at how long it’s taking volusia to build out their system.

Also are SLERS radios *always* loud? recently I heard FHP got patched through our local system, they were doing radio check:
County dispatch: county to FHP, radio check.
FHP ofc.: COUNTY I'VE GOT YOU LOUD AND CLEAR.
