No EDACS, just four P25 frequencies. Maybe we've found your elusive LCN's? ;)
If I was in that area I would have to sit some where and setup the unitrunker and radio to get the mising lcns for edacs...... By the way did you get any NL for the 4 sites?

As of for Polk County no p25. Wondering if they are going from NWFL to NE than south? When I get 2 days off I'll go to the 4 corners or Orlando area and see what pops up there.

Nothing in Orange County as of last night - my guess is panhandle to key west movement

Not trying to be a smart azz and maybe I’m missing something, but is there any real reason to be excited or interested in this system? Especially in the SW part of the state. Isn’t everything encrypted (except for maybe the radio techs)?

my .02? --- there are aspects of the monitoring hobby that don't involve actual monitoring of the voice traffic. Some like to find and map out new systems (this case) and some like doing radio ID traffic analysis - seeing which radio IDs affiliate with what TGs and Sites, etc.

Does anybody know if the new P25 phase 2 will be encrypted? The switch is underway in Brevard, with completion expected at the end
of September. Maybe the encryption will be a department by department decision.

since everything on SLERS (pretty much) is encrypted, I would not expect anything different for the P25 system.

If was a requirement for all LE traffic to be encrypted on SLERS.

I seem to remember reading somewhere that all the TGs will be ENC just like the current edac system

Judging by the previous posts my guts telling me that they're transitioning region by region, starting from region 1 then work their way down just like the state ID plan maps showing

Hey. I'm logging and recording comms to this new move over to P25. Trying to find if there is anything, if any comms is in the clear. Just TG 60101 Air Medevac, so far...which I knew. But I'm receiving open comms from (MSWIN) Mississippi Wireless Information Network. Same freqs and TGs numbers as listed on this new P25 Florida's statewide systems. What's up with that? I'm in the northwest Florida panhandle (Pensacola area). Thanks

I'm guessing it's most likely a unit from MSWIN registers and affiliates to one of the P25 SLERS towers during band openings, tropo etc. It could also be a unit drives within range of P25 SLERS coverage area. If you have DSDFL monitor SLERS control channel for foreign radio ID trying to register
