I've been away from DSD+ since mid summer, and so am trying to catch up.

I uploaded and installed all of the updates through 1.101.

I'm running Airspy through SDR# to CC.bat with no problem. I can get the control channel and voice on Slot 2 on that channel.

I'm using a NooElec R820T2 for voice traffic. I can get FMP-Voice to launch properly and I get messages in it saying that channels are being tuned to.

The problem I have is getting audio from FMP-Voice to VC.bat. I set that to use TCP port 65000, but get the following error message.

"Initiating TCP connection to 127.0.101:65000...
TCP connect error = 10061
{No connection could be made because the target machine is actively refusing it]

Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Also, how do I set frequency correction for FMP-Voice?

So you have the voice copy of DSD+ trying to connect to port 65000;

Is FMP listening on port 65000? Did you set that (-o65000) in the batch file that starts FMP?

Is the Windows firewall configured to allow FMP to act as a server?

Those seem to be the usual problem causes.

FMP PPM is set with the -P<value> command line parameter.

Thanks. As I found out, FMP-VC is set to -o20002. Which I didn't see in the release notes for the TCP update. Once I figured that out I set VC.bat to -i20002 and it worked fine.

The other thing that I can't find is which setting in VC.bat sets the audio output. Once I have that done, then I can get back to figuring out the channel numbering for a couple of the MotoTrbo trunk systems near me.

Should be a good winter project.

If you look in the FMP help file, most of the parameters have defaults. You do not have to enter a parameter for it to use a default setting. In the case of the VC, the default is "-o1" device 1, usually speakers.

That makes sense, although I did enter the "-o1" value. Part of my problem, or maybe all of it appears to be that the R820T2 seems to be off frequency. For example FMP will say that it's generating 935.0250, but that frequency doesn't appear in the FMP-VC spectrum display window.

The only time I get audio is when Slot 2 on the Control Channel is active. I use SDR# for the control channel feed to FMP-CC.

Is this a frequency correction issue or something else?
