I have a habit of leaving scanners, wallets and anything else of value on my trucks bumper. Two years ago I went 4 wheeling and I stopped on a hill to set up my antenna pole and monitor some mil-air with my VR-120.

After a great couple of hours of monitoring, I packed up my gear and I went home. Weeks turned into months and I could not find my VR-120 and I thought it was out in the desert somewhere. Yesterday, I am going through my sock drawer and way in the back under some old socks it was there. I had started losing interest in scanning until I rode to work today with that VR-120 turned on and I started listening all over again. Feels good to be back.

I assume it was in with all those missing one pair of socks that were wrapped around it too!

Wirelessly posted (Moto Droid Bionic: Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 4.1.2; en-us; DROID BIONIC Build/9.8.2O-72_VZW-22) AppleWebKit/534.30 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile Safari/534.30)

At least it wasn't in the dirty smelly socks. :)
